Ithaca Ecovillage - I drove down to install a heater core in a new subdivision there.



Ithaca, NY is at the bottom of 40 mile long Lake Cayuga, the longest of the Finger Lakes.
It is the home of Cornell University and is also called the Berkeley of the East.


John Zamkotowicz from New Jersery and Scott Goodman from Rochester came down to help.

Todd's pumkin patch. The world record for a pumpkin is 1238 lbs. This pumpkin is about
1005 lbs, and has 5 to 6 weeks left to grow. They gain up to 30 lbs per day, so it has a very good

Building an estufa. It is a simple cookstove with a chimney, so that
smoke is not in the house. The traditional three stone fire causes a
lot of health problems, particularly for women and children
$150.00 will buy all of the material for a stove for 1 family.
