My sister-in-law owns a bakery in France.
She asked me to write a spreadsheet template to do sourdough
ingredient
calculations. She reports that it works well.
It is an Excel spreadsheet template, and is availabe in
several flavours, in case you are running an
older version of Excel. On a PC, you can tell your Excel version
number by going into "Help" "About".
To download click on the appropriate link below:
Excel 7.0 format SourCalc.xls
(28 Kb)
Excel 4.0 format SourXL4.xls (7
Kb)
Excel 3.0 format SourXL3.xls (7
Kb)
In most browsers you can simply click on the link and it will
ask you if you want to save
the file to disk, and where on your disk you want to put it. To
use the template, open it up in Excel.
If you have trouble downloading, or get gibberish on your
screen, read your browser's
instructions. In Netscape, you may have to use "File Save
As" to get it to save it to your hard drive
rather that clicking on the link and having Netscape try to open
it in the browser.
Sometimes you have to press "Shift" when you click on
the link.
In Internet Explorer, you can try clicking the right mouse button
and using "Save Target As..."
Check back once in a while to get the latest version. Happy baking!.....................Norbert Senf
