Note after the whole pile catches and is flaming strongly, the flaming goes down , then up again.

On
the red flue temperature curve, at the beginning the sensor is in room
air and then immediately goes into the closed flue. After about half an
hour, the flue damper is opened, and then the ashbox door, and then the
heater door.

Note the pile collapse at 85 minutes, and then a poke to lift the two bottom unburned pieces buried under charcoal.
