March 6, 2010
White birch, 49.7 lb total, incl. 3.75 lbs kindling. 29.4% moisture.
North-South loading. Largest pieces first. Loaded onto a coal bed (Colorado method)
Efficiency is calculated at 95% oxygen recovery (Colorado method).
Stack temperature corrected for height.
Add-on bell has been extended in height by 5 courses.
Compared to last run:
Smaller load, cooler firebox.
Lower stack temperature, however lower burn rate results in higher oxygen, and slightly less overall efficiency
