Warm heater
White Birch, 20% moisture
7 pieces, 4.5 lbs kindling, 63.0 lbs total
Air closed at 115 minutes. Damper cut back. Closed at 275 minutes.
Somewhat tight stacking, resulting in a bit of PM.
Large kindling, slower start.
Animation, 2 minute intervals.
Yellow flames that are not real hot look a lot redder with a digital camera, which is very sensitive
in the near-infrared range.
Flue gas
Notice the very even oxygen curve, lacking a dip at the beginning, and a corresponding CO spike.
Poke at 55 minutes. Largest bottom piece placed on top, so that it will burn with the others.
