Hi Norbert:

Here's two shots of finished core,maybe not
perfect but I'm really happy with how it turned
out.Thanks for your practical yet simple design.Tracey
and I just layed the caps on,and it sits nice and flat
though the caps a bit higher than I wanted[3/8 in]I
suppose some ceramic fibre and silicon will fix
it.Will wrap it with fibreglass soon and start layout
for the heated bench.

hi Norbert:

Well here is the [almost]finished
product,and it's just beautiful!Have some glitches to
work out of water system,and we are currently curing
the stove,and it seems to work better with every
firing.
