Hi Norbert:

Hope everything is well.  Thanks for posting the link to the Fornobravo oven plans
in the Members' Lounge.

I was getting ready to build my bake oven and could not decide on Alan Scott or Peter  Moore's design. I emailed Peter about his design and he told me to call him.  He gave me some good tips on oven building. He's a good guy. 

I built a 42 inch round Forno from their plans.  I'm glad I did not use too much mass.  Today I'm cooking pizza's in it for the first time. Please find photo attached.  I still have to enclose the dome but at least I can cook in it. 

The soapstone keystone is from Bev's Tess fireplace. Nobody wanted the pieces, so I took them.  The oven arch is going to look exactly like the wood storage arch.
