PORTFOLIO HEATERS: Naine  

A see-through contra-flow heater with upper chamber oven. The Heater separates two halves of the same mid 18th century dwelling, and occupies the place of the original stack of 4 fire places and their chimney.
The artisanal brick are burnt in the last wood fired Hofman brick oven in France. The stone used for the arches is local Arudy Marble taken from old lintles. The sandstone of the bench top is from the paving stones of the dwellings floor. The 19th and early 20th century tiles were taken from the kitchen and oven facing during the initial stages of the building's renovation.
One side of the heater protrudes onto the first floor, allowing heat to convect directly into the otherwise closed room.
