Contraflow Takka built into a load-bearing wall.
The facing brick are almost 200 years old and taken from a demolished outbuilding. The blue stone tiles are probably older, and once formed a kitchen floor. The large bluestone is an anchor stone for a weaving machine that stood on the other side of the wall in what was once a textile factory. It was excavated from directly below the stove, when the footing was dug out.
