St-Jean Port Joly

General food store with an exterior wood fired oven at St -Jean Port Joly on the south shore of the St Laurence seaway Quebec.

The origin of the oven is obscure as the current owner bought the shop along with the oven, and has never asked within the community as to its history. The oven is fired daily and its bread sold in the shop.

The opening for the chimney connection is in the back upper center of the vault, just visible behind the flame.

The short black pipe chimney rests directly upon the vault.
